We spent a weekend in London celebrating the birthday of a member of Miriam's extended family
An early morning runner in Finsbury Park
Adrian took us to the tiny Postman's Park in the City of London,
where the Watts Memorial commemorates people who lost their lives saving others
We then headed on to the Barbican Centre,
where we found this wonderful piece of graffiti art in Nettleton Court
This stranger poses for a photo among the fountains at the Barbican Centre,
unaware that another lens is pointing in her direction
In the afternoon we held a gigantic family picnic in Regent's Park:
in a friendly match we learned that Germans can play cricket too
The TV cameras were at a one-day international taking place at Lord's,
but missed the young talent in action here
The picnic's over: time to head for home
